"Koi Fish Girl" is an artwork in which I blend the portrait of a young girl with koi fishes, a common motif in Asian culture and so prevalent in Japanese illustration. I also experimented for the first time with colored inks (turquoise and various shades of red) that add chromatic richness, and blank spaces that create contrasts.
